ABSTRACT:
Urban areas face increasing challenges in ensuring public safety due to rising population density, traffic congestion, and potential criminal activities. Intelligent Urban Security Systems (IUSS) aim to enhance street and public safety by integrating advanced technologies such as IoT sensors, CCTV cameras, artificial intelligence (AI), and real-time data analytics. These systems can detect unusual activities, monitor traffic, recognize potential threats, and alert authorities promptly, enabling proactive responses to incidents. By combining automation, predictive analytics, and centralized monitoring, IUSS not only improves emergency response times but also optimizes resource allocation for urban security. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the design, implementation, and potential benefits of intelligent security systems for modern cities, emphasizing their role in creating safer, smarter, and more resilient urban environments.
