ABSTRACT:
This paper presents the design and implementation of a low-cost, Wi-Fi-controlled surveillance robot using the ESP32-CAM module. The proposed system integrates a microcontroller with an on board camera, enabling remote control of vehicle movement and live video streaming via a smartphone or computer. The robot is equipped with an L298N motor driver for motion control, SG90 servo motors for pan-tilt camera positioning, and rechargeable batteries for power supply. By connecting to a local Wi-Fi network, users can navigate the robot in real-time while receiving live video feedback, making it suitable for home security, industrial monitoring, and remote surveillance applications. The system is programmed using the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE), providing an open-source, user-friendly platform. With its low-cost components and easy-to-use web interface, the proposed solution offers a convenient and flexible approach for remote monitoring needs.
